In the dichotomy between substance and form, rituals fall squarely in the latter category. But for me the passing of time brings nuances to that understanding. Carried out with intent and conviction, a ritual can imbue form with substance.
My move to this dedicated WordPress site may be seen as an embodiment of that statement. Or it might just be that I got really annoyed when Facebook removed its Notes function.
